A while back, we killed the church bulletin in an effort to save time, money and trees. We’re glad we did it, and we love our weekly email newsletter, facebook page, and video announcements. The devastation in Haiti is immense.  As a church, we are praying about how God can use us to show compassion and mercy.  Information is sparse and unreliable.  Transportation systems are jammed.
The Vineyard USA’s Mercy Response ministry is working on setting up a “base camp” in Haiti so that as a movement we can respond quickly and responsibly.  There is an existing partnership between Vineyard USA and Convoy of Hope, which has given “boots on the ground” so that we can act wisely.
