A malfunction in a key fire safety mechanism cropped up right before our inspection on Thursday. In spite of the fact that we could fix the problem in just a few hours, we couldn’t have it repaired before the inspection. Outside of the malfunctioning equipment our building looks great–but it was a deal-breaker, so we are not able to have church in the building yet. Our next opportunity for an inspection is this coming Tuesday.

Change of Plans
Well, the new place won’t be quite ready on Sunday… apparently there’s some truth to that whole horseshoes and hand-grenades thing. So, we’re meeting at the Bicentennial Amphitheater/Pavilion which is located behind the courthouse, and across from the First Baptist Maryville. Here’s the plan:
Brunch & Worship in the Park
Sunday, March 20 at 10am
Brunch will start at 10am and we’ll sing a few worship songs together at 11am. There are some early morning sprinkles forecasted, so you might want to bring an umbrella, but that won’t stop us from enjoy …
