Jesus is the Son of God. The Almighty. Sovereign over all the universe.
But He’s also intensely personal. The bulk of his ministry on earth was not dedicated to the large crowds than often pressed in around him. He devoted most of his time to personal interactions: listening, storytelling, extended meals with friends, unplanned detours to show compassion to strangers.

What is the one thing you have to do or you’ll die? Your passion? Your “holy must”?

What’s the first thought that jumps into your heard when you hear the word “wrestling.” (high school wrestling, WWE, Nacho Libre)
Think back to the first time you heard about Jacob wrestling God. Describe what you pictured.

Do you ever wonder how super-bible-nerd-types like Dr. Herman Neutix are able to get so much more out of the Bible than the rest of us? Are they uber-intelligent? Do they really need to use all those big words to make their point, or are they just pretentious?  Do you have to go to a fancy Bible school to do that?
