The devastation in Haiti is immense.  As a church, we are praying about how God can use us to show compassion and mercy.  Information is sparse and unreliable.  Transportation systems are jammed.
The Vineyard USA’s Mercy Response ministry is working on setting up a “base camp” in Haiti so that as a movement we can respond quickly and responsibly.  There is an existing partnership between Vineyard USA and Convoy of Hope, which has given “boots on the ground” so that we can act wisely.

The Vineyard is hosting a “FREE Kids’ Closet!”
The event will be Friday, October 2nd from 5-8pm.  We’re going to have donated clothes and shoes organized throughout the building and have people come and just take whatever they need.  We’re also going to feed them and make it a fun night out as well.  (This could be as crazy as the Free Hair Cut Night - that would be awesome!)
