‘Back to School Youth & Parents Night’ is this Sunday, August 2nd.  We’ll meet at 5pm in the Vineyard Cafe.  This is a great way for our kids to begin the new school year!  We will spend time in prayer for our kids, our youth group, and our schools!  We will share the vision of youth ministry and meet the new youth ministry leadership team.  Our youth will be asked to purchase a $10 devotional that we will be going through for the next 3 months.

If you’ve never been in a pair of waders in waist deep water…it’s an odd experience–kind of like an awkwardly strong hug from the water…that may or may not crush you! I was talking about this at staff meeting this week and Sharon and Teri got curious. We hadn’t yet drained the tank from Sunday, so they gave it a shot!

Back in March, we set a goal to see 100 people come to Christ through the ministries of our church in 12 months.  We’ve never been fixated on numbers, or on measuring things.  The truth is, we’ve not really kept count of salvations until…uhm…about four months ago!
We also recognize that you can’t keep a completely accurate count of something that is inherently spiritual and completely supernatural.  On the other hand, we want to be able to look back and have some sort of indicator of our effectiveness in bringing the …
