be-one-make-one1. Read 2 Timothy 2:1-2.  How does the Family of God grow? (answer: from generation to generation)

2. Who handed down the truth of the Gospel to you?

3. Read 1 John 2:12-14

4. How does the text describe “Fathers.”? What does that mean?

5. Do you know any spiritual mothers or fathers? If so, what about them leads you to characterize them as such?

6. Those who are no longer “children,” and are not yet “Fathers,” are called “young men.” Discuss the three descriptions that are given for the “young men” and what you think each of them mean.
1. You are strong
2. The word of God abides in you
3. You have overcome the evil one

7. What is spiritual authority?

8. Have you ever thought of yourself as having spiritual authority?

9. How do “young men” or “young women” in the faith become “Fathers” or “Mothers?” (answer: they raise children).

10. What does it mean to raise a “child” in the faith?

11. Whether you’re a child, a young man, or a father, how is LifeGroup the starting point for your spiritual development?

12. The call is simple: we all need to be a disciple and make a disciple.  Be One Make One.  What role in that can LifeGroup play?

13. Read Ephesians 5:15-20, what specific instructions are we given about how we can be intentional to disciple one another?
