
‘Back to School Youth & Parents Night’ is this Sunday, August 2nd. We’ll meet at 5pm in the Vineyard Cafe. This is a great way for our kids to begin the new school year! We will spend time in prayer for our kids, our youth group, and our schools! We will share the vision of youth ministry and meet the new youth ministry leadership team. Sharon and I had the opportunity to worship at the Chattanooga Vineyard this past Sunday. The Chatty Vineyard is not just another church…they are the church that ‘planted’ our church. I’m so thankful for our sending church! I’m thankful for their pastor, Jeff Anderle, who had the courage and the faith to give his blessing to a 23 year-old church planter. I’m thankful for their people, who supported us financially and in every other way.

Back in March, we set a goal to see 100 people come to Christ through the ministries of our church in 12 months. We’ve never been fixated on numbers, or on measuring things. The truth is, we’ve not really kept count of salvations until…uhm…about four months ago!

Christy Hendirckson is our new Tykes ministry Team Leader! Christy is married to Erik Hendrickson and they have twin boys, Seth and Jacob. Christy is a full-time mom and a part-time occupational therapist. Christy has lots of kids’ ministry experience and loves working with the 3-5 age group!
