Sharon and I had the opportunity to worship at the Chattanooga Vineyard this past Sunday.  The Chatty Vineyard is not just another church…they are the church that ‘planted’ our church.  I’m so thankful for our sending church!  I’m thankful for their pastor, Jeff Anderle, who had the courage and the faith to give his blessing to a 23 year-old church planter.  I’m thankful for their people, who supported us financially and in every other way.

God has blessed and grown our church.  We’ve been able to send out a church, too: the Canvas fellowhip, in Lenoir City.  I believe that God has called us to send many more churches.  Many more!

Eph. 3:10 says that it’s through the church that the manifold wisdom of God is made known.  The church is God’s chosen method for bringing the truth to the world.  That’s why, when you read the book of Acts, you see new churches being planted all over.  That’s why we want to do the same…it’s God’s plan to save the world!  And, let’s face it, if we aren’t trying to save the world, then what in the world are we doing?

Grateful,
Pastor Aaron
