Christy Hendirckson is our new Tykes ministry Team Leader!  Christy is married to Erik Hendrickson and they have twin boys, Seth and Jacob.  Christy is a full-time  mom and a part-time occupational therapist.  Christy has lots of kids’ ministry experience and loves working with the 3-5 age group!  Make sure you meet her and thank her for serving our kids!

Our religious default setting is to try and earn our way into God’s good graces by behaving ourselves and doing religious stuff.  There are two big problems with that:
1. The Bible says that’s impossible.
2. If we could, it would only serve to glorify us, and not God.
Galatians teaches clearly and strongly that we are saved by God’s grace, not by our religious posturing.  It’s written with a sense of urgency and even anger, because the churches in Galatia have lost that message.  We face the same basic problem …
