On Sunday, June 13, we announced a new opportunity for ministry. We’re partnering with Beech Grove Baptist Church to serve a Hispanic congregation on Sunday nights. Here’s what they’re doing:

Worship together
Prepare & serve dinner
Help teach English.

Mike has been serving with our youth ministry here at the Vineyard as a volunteer for over 2 years.  He is a student about to enter his senior year at Johnson Bible College where he is majoring in youth ministry and preaching.
Mike will be leading our youth ministry and youth ministry team throughout the summer.  He will be taking our students to camp, running our back-to-back fundraisers, planning ‘fun nights out’ every Tuesday night, and leading youth group on Sunday nights.

On Sunday, March 8, 2009, Aaron set a goal to see 100 people receive salvation through faith in Jesus at the Vineyard in a year. He decided that it was important enough to go public with the goal and measure our progress. Check out Aaron’s blog post about it and listen to the sermon:

Frank & Donna Browning are starting a new LifeGroup in their home on Wednesday nights. The group will meet for the first time tonight (Feb 3, 2010).
