Kids’ Worship Team

kids-worship-photowebWe are in the process of developing a Kids’ Worship Team – a team of people who will lead our kids in worship on Sunday mornings.  We want our kids to know the love of God and live their lives in response to His love.

We want to raise a generation of worshippers!

This team will lead the kids in each class in worship through age-appropriate song, prayer, and teaching.  Each class will take turns going to the “Kids’ Theatre” area for this time together.  (This will be in the new building).  The Voyagers Class (K-5th grade) will continue to worship with their parents in the Sanctuary as well as experience this additional time of ministry for them during their class.

We are looking for anyone who would like to be a part of this team.  There will be 3 teams.  Each team has a leader who is very equipped and gifted to do this.  What we need is for more people to be on their teams to help engage the students and lead the students in worship.   Some of the songs will be live and some will be DVD based.

So there is no need to be musically talented – just a strong desire to lead kids in worship.

We will be incorporating sign language and all kinds of different ways to express our worship and gratitude to Christ.

Aaron Myers and Molly Kale are leading this team.  They are having an information meeting for all those who might be interested in learning more about this ministry THIS SUNDAY, August 29th, at 10:30am (in between the services).  The meeting will be in Sharon’s office (first one on the left, it’s orange).  Anyone, any age, is welcome to come and learn more.
